Meridians Exhibit 2012

Meridians Exhibit 2012

Meridian: an imaginary great circle in the sphere of the heavens; a channel of vital energy.

Geometric forms have been sacred to many cultures throughout the ages. In this exhibit, organic and logarithmic curves, spheres and ovals are prominent, as they form the basis of these archetypal symbols.

MERIDIANS is a visual exploration of geometry’s relationship to existence. Mathematics describes both the physical and the metaphysical – it is a language of the inseparable relationship of the part to the whole. It is the principle of oneness underlying geometry that permeates the architecture of universal union.

“Geometry provides us with a continuous reminder of our relationship to the whole. It is the blueprint for the mind to the sacred foundation of all things created.”
